Trish and Fran March 1st 2013

Well let's see, from the minute we enquired (because there wasn't another hotel on my radar!), we were met with a high level of personal service, attention, & friendliness. We were able to arrange a date to meet with Helen, discuss all of our options; & from then, we knew our day would be as special to them as it was to us.

We only had two meetings with Helen in total, we didn't need anymore; between a few emails & calls, the details were sorted & from the hotel point of view, we had nothing to worry about; we were in capable & experienced hands, and we felt safe & secure, knowing that.

The wedding was March 1st, we popped inl the day before, to drop off the cake, bathroom baskets, & drinks reception; I was even able to set up the cake there & then (thanks to Marie; no last minute dash required on the morning of the wedding); & thanks to Cathal for the use of his desk!

The day itself, could not have gone better; from the moment our guests arrived, they were so well looked after. The fires were lighting in The Pavillion, the place immaculate as always, the staff well turned out & attentive, my unique table plan displayed, a brilliant atmosphere & other little touches made it all perfect.

The meal itself was superb; Thys deserves special mention, "military precision with a smile", but everything was flexible nonetheless, would we like an extra few minutes before calling for the meal, in case the photos were running long etc. & we can't thank him enough, for also entertaining our 3yr old, who joined us at the top table; nothing was too much trouble! The meal was served in excellent time (but not rushed), & in a true professional manner, by every member of staff.

The evening flowed on without a glitch, no delay in moving tables, band setting up; dj concurrently, while behind the scenes, the evening buffet was being prepared. An outstanding & unparalleled level of personal service in beautiful surroundings, with the most genuine of people, you could ever hope to meet.
