Situated just to the East of Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa, Ballyseedy Wood is perfect for your morning run or afternoon stroll with over 7km of trails and paths. The wood dates back to the 16th Century extends to almost 80 acres with at least 22 varieties of native trees.
As you wander along the Old Coach Road which served the Blennerhassett estate and plantation, look out for the majestic Ash, Oak and Beech trees. There are a number of ruins and folllies within the wood, dating back to the 17th century, with the River Lee (from which Tralee takes its name) forming the woodlands northern boundary.
When leaving the hotel turn right, the entrance to the wood is approx 0.5mile from the hotel.
